Example:
Kaiser Permanente Regional Laboratory, Denver Colorado, 2003-2006 Provided coordination and laboratory project
management services over the span of three (3) years. The scope of work included working with the laboratory to create a
concept design and feasibility study for business approval. Once garnered, the working groups and AiCon designed workflow,
optimized equipment utilization, chose - installed - tested core laboratory automation equipment and middleware solutions,
provided design parameters for a molecular testing area, consolidated microbiology set-up utilizing automated platers and
stainers, automated storage systems including locator software and a staff model that supports the 'process design'. AiCon
coordinated and managed the equipment list and cut sheets for the architects, general contractors, Kaiser purchasing and the
move coordinators.
Over one third of the laboratory staff worked on the project during concept design, detail design and the install /
implement phase. The building is nearing completion (target is May 2006). |
